Case Description
On August 2, 2024, in the village of Ukrainskoye in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, 39-year-old local resident and Ukrainian citizen Sergey Kondratenko was detained. Only after 22 days, on August 23, he was charged with participating in the activities of an extremist organization. The details of the charges are unknown. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center. On April 14, 2025, the court found Sergey Kondratenko guilty and sentenced him to 4.6 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. There is no information about appealing the verdict.
