In April 2024, a criminal case for calls for terrorism was opened against a 16-year-old teenager Ali Rinat in the Stavropol Territory. A month later, the charges against Ali were toughened: the teenager was accused of aiding terrorist activities, participating in a terrorist organization, public calls for terrorism, as well as robbery and theft committed by a group of persons.
