Case Description
In the occupied Donetsk region, no later than October 2024, a criminal case was opened against Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Dmitry Melnichuk for participating in a terrorist community. The details of the charges are unknown. On November 8, 2024, the Southern Military District Court found Dmitry Melnichuk guilty and sentenced him to 5.5 years in a general regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
