3 October 2022 in Krasnoyarsk, an unknown person threw two bottles with an incendiary mixture at the military commissariat of the Soviet and Central districts of the city. Due to this, a fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished by the police guarding the military enlistment office. No one was hurt. Four days later, local resident Andrei Petrauskas, 23, was detained on suspicion of arson. He was accused of committing a terrorist act. On October 10, 2022, the court chose a measure of restraint for the Krasnoyarsk resident in the form of arrest. August 16, 2023, the 1st Eastern Military District Court found Andrei Petrauskas guilty and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Petrauskas will spend the first 2.5 years of his sentence in prison, the rest in a strict regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force. In late August 2024, it became known that Andrei Petrauskas had been charged with another criminal case - justifying terrorism." Conversations with cellmates from Ukraine became the reason for criminal prosecution. According to the investigation, Petrusauskas allegedly discussed the "Legion Freedom of Russia" and "Artpodgotovka" with Ukrainians Yuriy Domanchuk and Artem Krikunov, who were sentenced for an assassination attempt on a Russian official in Kherson and "preparing a terrorist attack in the LPR. Their testimonies formed the basis of the accusation. According to Petruskas, the prisoners are on exchange lists. On November 21, 2024, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Andrey Petrauskas guilty and sentenced him to 2.5 years of imprisonment. Through partial addition of sentences, the man was given a final punishment of 9 years, adding 1 year and 2 months to the previous sentence. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
