They were then taken to the annexed Crimea, where their detention and arrest were officially formalized: the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent all the defendants in the case into custody. Later the men were transferred to Moscow. April 29, 2025, the Southern Military District Court found the defendants guilty and sentenced Igor Gorlov and Yuri Petrov to 14 years, Andrei Golubev and Alexander Zhukov - to 12 years, and Vladimir Zuev - to 11 years in a strict regime colony. The first 5.5 years of the sentence the convicts will have to serve in prison.
