Case Description
On January 3, 2025, a search was conducted in the village of Bira, Obluchensky district, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, of 18-year-old local resident Alexei Shoshan. Phones were confiscated from him, in which correspondence with alleged representatives of the Freedom of Russia Legion was found. On January 16, 2025, the young man was detained and accused of participating in a terrorist community. The court placed Shoshin in the SIZO.
