Case Description
In the Bryansk region on January 15, 2024, Vladislav Sevostyanikhin, a 20-year-old resident of Moscow, was detained. He was accused of attempting to illegally cross the border with Ukraine and preparing to 'join a Ukrainian organization recognized as terrorist on the territory of Russia'. The Sovetsky District Court of Bryansk sent the young man into custody. September 5, 2024, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Vladislav Sevostyanikhin guilty and sentenced him to 10 years in prison, the first 2 years of which in prison, and the rest of the term in a strict regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
