Case Description
In Rybinsk, no later than October 2024, a criminal case for treason was opened against 28-year-old Vladislav Marov, an electric welder at one of the defense enterprises. According to the investigation, earlier Marov contacted a representative of the partisan organization "ATESH", used by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine", and offered to provide information about products manufactured under state defense orders, as well as the location of production facilities, in exchange for payment. Agreed to determine the amount of remuneration later, depending on the importance and quality of the information provided. Thereafter, Marov allegedly photographed production buildings with the coordinates of their location and a description of the key objects, the destruction of which, according to the investigation, could stop production. He later passed on the obtained data to "Ukrainian curators. But according to the investigation, he ultimately did not receive the reward. KiROVSKY DISTRICT COURT OF YAROSLAVL CHOSE PREVENTIVE MEASURE IN THE FORM OF CUSTODY. On March 27, 2025, the Yaroslavl Regional Court found Marov guilty and sentenced him to 16 years in prison to be served in a strict regime colony. In addition, he was sentenced to an additional punishment in the form of restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
