Gorban Vladimir Sergeevich (Gorban Volodimir Sergiyovich)

In the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, no later than May 2025, 23-year-old local resident and citizen of Ukraine Vladimir Gorbany was detained. He was accused of publicly calling for extremist and terrorist activities using the Internet. According to the Russian investigation, in March 2025, Gorbany used a mobile phone to post text messages in Telegram channels calling for hostile actions against Russian military personnel and violence against a representative of the authorities. The defendants in the case were placed in custody for the duration of the investigation. August 26, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found Vladimir Gorbany guilty and sentenced him to 6 years in a general regime correctional colony. The court also banned the Ukrainian from administering websites and channels on the internet for 2.5 years. On December 15, 2025, the Appellate Military Court upheld the sentence.
