Case Description
On the morning of October 4, 2024, at six o'clock, security forces burst into the home of 44-year-old lawyer and private detective Valentin Kharlamov in Voronezh for a 'search'. According to reports, during the 'search' he was severely beaten by operatives from the OP-4 of the TsO, his rib was broken, his glasses were smashed, his shirt was torn, and he was beaten. Khramlova was accused of repeated "discrediting of the army" due to a comment on the internet under his own post from October 5, 2022. Earlier, in May 2022, Kharlamova was twice held accountable under an administrative offense case under the article on 'discrediting the army'. On the same day, the investigator issued a resolution to terminate criminal prosecution due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for bringing to responsibility.
