Case Description
A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, machine gunner Vadim Rozhkov of military unit A-3283 (17th separate tank brigade), was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime penal colony. According to the investigation and the court, on November 6, 2024, Rozhkov, armed with an assault rifle and grenades, invaded the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, Rozhkov equipped an observation and fire position in the area of Olgovka village in the Korenevsky district of the Kursk region, from which he opened fire on Russian servicemen and civilians, and also prevented their evacuation.
