Case Description
In Magadan in August 2024, a pensioner, civil activist Tamara Kryukova, was detained. According to investigators, on October 8, 2022, Kryukova posted on her VK page "text messages containing signs of justifying terrorist activity. According to a linguistic study dated August 18, 2023, the information she posted "contains statements aimed at justifying violent, discriminatory and destructive actions related to the explosion on October 8, 2022 on the Crimean Bridge." "On May 23 and 25, 2023, Krikova posted there 'text messages containing signs of propaganda of terrorist activity.'", According to linguistic studies from July 26 and 27, 2023, the texts posted by Kryukova contain a positive assessment of the 'Ukrainian paramilitary organization "Legion of Freedom of Russia, ' which was recognized as a terrorist organization by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on March 16, 2023. A criminal case was opened against the 65-year-old pensioner under the article on justification of terrorism.
