Case Description
In Bryansk, no later than June 2023, local resident Svetlana Kostrikova, 38, was detained. She was accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to the investigation, in June 2023, the woman joined the Ukrainian paramilitary organization 'Legion of Freedom of Russia,' recognized as terrorist, and sent information that could be used against the security of the Russian Federation. Kostrikova was placed in a pre-trial detention center for the duration of the investigation. On August 20, 2024, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Svetlana Kostrikova guilty and sentenced her to 11 years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony. On January 22, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the verdict in force.
