Case Description
On January 28, 2025, around 8 PM, a fire broke out at the "Buntaro" cafe on Arzamasskaya Street in Voronezh. In the morning of January 29, 2025, another point of "Buntaro" on Plekhanovskaya Street caught fire." Firefighters rescued three girls - they were taken to the intensive care unit with burns of varying degrees. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the establishment was set on fire by one of the girls, 20-year-old student Sofia Belyavtseva. Apparently, she was acting on the orders of the fraudsters. Investigators found correspondence with unknown individuals in the girl's phone who ordered her to set fire to the establishment. A criminal case was opened against Belyavtseva under the article on attempted murder of two or more persons, committed in a generally dangerous manner. On February 12, 2025, Sofia Belyavtseva died in the hospital from burns she received. She was in the intensive care unit for 14 days, but the doctors could not save her.
