Case Description
On October 18, 2024, in the area of the village of Zolotaya Niva on the Volnovakha direction of the Donetsk region, 42-year-old Crimean Tatar, citizen of Ukraine with forced Russian citizenship Seyran Asanov, was taken prisoner by Russian servicemen. He was accused of participating in a terrorist community, undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities and treason. The reason for the criminal prosecution was service in the 48th Separate Assault Battalion named after Nomana Chelebidikhana.
