Case Description
In the Voronezh region, no later than March 2025, a criminal case was opened against 47-year-old local resident Sergey Tokarev." He was accused of public calls for terrorist activity on the internet. According to the security forces, Tokarev in Telegram, when discussing a message on the channel of an organization recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, used statements inciting the physical elimination of the highest officials of the Russian Federation. It is unknown which specific channel and statements are being referred to. There is no information about the measure of restraint. September 26, 2025, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Sergey Tokarev guilty and sentenced him to 2 years in a general regime colony. He was also banned from administering websites and channels in messengers for 2 years after his release.
