Case Description
Sergey Novikov, a local resident, was detained in Kazan no later than July 2023. He was accused of participating in a terrorist community. According to the security forces, since April 25, 2023, Novikov has been participating in the "Legion of Freedom of Russia, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine. The man allegedly "manufactured technical means for carrying out an attack on various infrastructure objects. The defendants in the case were placed in custody for the duration of the investigation.
