Case Description
In June 2022, a search was conducted in the village of Baklanovo, Oryol Region, at the home of a 39-year-old local resident, civil journalist and author of the Telegram and YouTube channels "Nosov's List" Sergey Nosov. Prosecutors opened a criminal case against him for "fakes" about the Russian army. The reason for the criminal prosecution was publications on April 3, 2022, in the Telegram channel "Nosov's List" about the killings of civilians in Bucha and Irpin, and a video in which he accused the Russian authorities of genocide of the civilian population of Ukraine. Late in the evening, Nosov was released, having handed him a summons for interrogation. Search was conducted at Nosov's place in September 2022 in the case initiated against politician Ilya Ponomarev. After that, Nosov left Russia. He was put on the wanted list.
