Case Description
In Ryazan, no later than March 2025, a criminal case was opened against investigative journalist Sergey Yezhov of The Insider and the "Anti-Corruption Foundation. He was accused of evading the performance of the duties of a foreign agent, financing extremism, and participating in the activities of an extremist organization. The details of the charges are unknown. The Ministry of Justice declared the investigator a "foreign agent" in July 2024. 17 March 2025, a search was conducted in the apartment of his parents, breaking down the door.
