Case Description
In May 2023, Sergey Erzhenkov and Sergey Skoreev were sentenced to eight months of restriction of freedom in a vandalism case: they were prohibited from leaving Kasimov, changing their place of residence, and leaving their homes at night. The prosecutor requested that they be sentenced to one year and two months of restriction of freedom each. Prior to that, justices of the peace twice terminated the case, imposing court fines. A criminal case against the men was opened in April 2022. According to the investigation, they painted the inscription "Putin zaeibal, leave" on the local Lenin monument.
