Case Description
21 January 2024, Ruslan Mamin, a 20-year-old native of the Penza region, was detained in Sovetsk, Kaliningrad region. According to law enforcement officers, the guy tried to cross the border through the Neman River in order to allegedly join the "RDK" and the "Legion of Freedom of Russia" in order to fight against the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine. A criminal case was opened against the young man on attempted participation in a terrorist organization. For the duration of the investigation, he was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
