В Мариуполе оккупированной части Донецкой области в мае 2022 года в плен к российским военным попал 25-летний гражданин Украины, военнослужащий полка «Азов» ВСУ Руслан Левин. Против него возбудили уголовное дело об участии в террористическом сообществе. Поводом для уголовного преследования стала служба в рядах ВСУ националистического батальона «Азов», признанного в России террористическим.
