The correspondence was conducted in Signal. Maxim shared this information with his best friend, who then turned him in to the FSB. Maxim was detained right at the cache, after which he was taken to the Moscow region, where his teeth were knocked out and he was electrocuted. Security forces then brought Volga to Voronezh and showed him where to leave the bag. A 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen, Oleg Zabolotny, came for her. He was also detained.
