Morochkovskiy Oleg Aleksandrovich

On August 3, 2022, in the occupied Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, two employees of the Zaporizhzhia NPP were detained - 29-year-old security guard Oleg Morochkovsky and engineer Alexey Danilov. They were accused of committing an act of international terrorism. Later, Morochkovsky was also accused of espionage. According to the Russian investigation, Morochkovsky and Danilov coordinated the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant for the SBU. From March to July 2022, Morochkovsky collected and transmitted data on the locations of Rosgvardia servicemen and equipment to a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman acting in the interests of the Main Intelligence Directorate through a messenger. In total, he managed to transmit the coordinates of more than 10 targets. Danilov, who worked for the SBU since March 2022, passed on data about the security system of the nuclear power plant. The defendants in the case were sent into custody. No later than March 22, 2024, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Court found Oleg Morochkovsky guilty and sentenced him to 11 years of imprisonment to be served in a strict regime correctional colony. There is no information about the verdict against Alexey Danilov.
