Case Description
In the occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, no later than August 2024, a lead case was initiated on charges of incitement to terrorism against 49-year-old local resident and Ukrainian citizen Oksana Pavlenko. The date of her detention is unknown. According to the investigation, on May 25, 2024, during the period of martial law, Plakhotko posted a comment in one of the channels on the Internet, calling for mass arson of Russian military facilities and the destruction of Russian citizens. On November 12, 2024, the Southern Military Court found Oksana Pavlenko guilty and sentenced her to 5 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony. On May 19, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
