Mahmudov, Maslakov and Imran Tekilov were additionally charged with illegal possession of weapons. On December 8, 2013, Ersmak Saraliev was detained in Moscow. According to law enforcement officials, they were preparing to carry out an explosion at the Kyrgyzstan cinema in Moscow between January 1 and 10, 2014. For this, they purchased and stored weapons, ammunition, and components for making homemade explosive devices in a rented apartment on Natasha Kachuyskaya Street. All defendants were sent to a pre-trial detention center. On April 22, 2016, the Moscow Regional Military Court found all defendants guilty and sentenced Tajiba Mahmudov to 13 years in a strict regime colony, Artur Maslakov and Imran Tekilov to 12 years in a strict regime colony each, Tagir Akhtakhanov, Sergey Cheprasov, Anzor Tekilov, Artur Tekilov, Islam Ramazanov, Aslan Suleymanov, Khoso Esmurzaev, Adam Shavkhalov, Ersmak Saraliev, Nurmagomed Balakadashyev and Inyal Balakadashyev to 11 years in a strict regime colony each.
