Case Description

In Moscow in December 2024, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation began an investigation against Nikita Khrushchev's great-granddaughter Nina Khrushcheva on charges of espionage. Performances by Nina Khrushcheva were canceled at the Yekaterinburg Yeltsin Center in late November after publications about claims against her by "public figures. Nina Khrushcheva repeatedly condemned the SMO and spoke about the collapse of Russia. She permanently resides in the United States and works as a professor at The New School in New York.
