Case Description
In Moscow at the end of December 2023, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on participation in an extremist community against participants of the "Forum of Free Peoples of Post-Russia", which took place in mid-December 2023 in Germany. One of the defendants in the case was regional activist Nikolai Gorelov from Kaliningrad. The activist himself is not in Russia. Later, another criminal case was opened against Gorelov - for the rehabilitation of Nazism. The details of the charges are unknown. September 13, 2024, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested Gorelova in absentia.
