Case Description
According to the investigation and the court, 43-year-old resident of Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, Ukraine, Natalya Pridatchenko concluded a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for military service for a period of three years. After completing the initial training courses, she was sent to the 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aydar. In the battalion, Natalia worked as a cook. Women were accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and sent to a pre-trial detention center. The exact date of detention is unknown. 4 December 2023, Judge Gurgen Dovlatbekyan of the Southern Military District Court sentenced Pridatchenko to 5 years in a penal colony-settlement. On February 28, 2024, the Appellate Military Court left the verdict unchanged. September 13, 2024, Natalia Pridatchenko was released as part of a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine."
