Case Description
In Oryol in January 2025, local 22-year-old Mansur Khadzhiev was detained. He was accused of public calls for terrorism and activities aimed against state security. According to the investigation, Khadzhiev posted a comment in a messenger calling for assistance to the armed forces of Ukraine. In addition, he published six video clips containing public calls for terrorist activity and justification of the activities of Khattab, Basayev, Dudayev, Maskhadov, and others. Hadzhiyev himself stated that he did this not because of ideological beliefs, but to increase the popularity of his channel. The man was escorted to Moscow, where on January 22, 2025, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow placed the young man in custody at the request of the investigation. On December 8, 2025, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Mansur Khadzhiev guilty and sentenced him to 3.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony with a 1-year restriction of freedom. The court also banned him from administering websites for 2.5 years.
