Case Description
In the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, a criminal case for high treason was opened against 49-year-old local resident Lyubov Voynova. Date of detention unknown. According to the version of Russian law enforcement, in August 2023, Voynova passed information about the movement of motor vehicles of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to an employee of the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This data could allegedly be used by the Ukrainian side to "inflict fire damage on the locations of the RF Armed Forces. No later than November 21, 2024, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Court found Lyubov Voynova guilty and sentenced her to 14 years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony with a one-year restriction of liberty. No information about the appeal is available.
