Case Description
Ukrainian citizen Leonid Zinchenko, a serviceman of the Aidar battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fell into the hands of Russian soldiers. Date and place of his capture are unknown. A criminal case was opened against him for participating in a terrorist community. The reason for the criminal prosecution was service in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces battalion "Aidar", recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia." On October 16, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found Leonid Zinchhenko guilty and sentenced him to 8 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
