Within two weeks, Tolstikov "ensured the delivery of personnel, batteries, and food, participated in the blockade of the settlement, intimidated peaceful citizens, prohibited them from moving freely, and hindered evacuation. 11 April 2025, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Konstantin Tolstikov guilty and sentenced him to 16 years in prison, the first 4 years to be served in prison, and the remaining term in a strict regime penal colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
