Case Description
Charges were brought against 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen and Ukrainian Armed Forces 'Aidar' Regiment serviceman Konstantin Lantinov for participating in a terrorist community. The reason for the criminal prosecution was his service in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the nationalist Aidar battalion, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia. According to the Russian investigation, in May 2017, the Ukrainian citizen Lantynov voluntarily joined the ranks of the 'Aidar' battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is a terrorist community. On July 24, 2025, the Southern Military District Court found Konstantin Lantinov guilty and sentenced him to 6 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
