Case Description
A criminal case was opened against Christo Grozev, the lead investigator of Bellingcat, who was declared wanted, on charges of spreading fakes about the Russian army. Hristo Grosev is accused of organizing the escape abroad of journalist, founder, and chief editor of The Insider Roman Dobrokhotov. FSB reported on the plans of Ukrainian special services to hijack a bomber and fighter from Russia with the support of British MI6 and investigator Hristo Grozev, the pilots were planned to be bribed and given citizenship of a European country. The journalist told Radio Svoboda that he did not participate in the Ukrainian special services operation, but together with the Bellingcat team was investigating attempts by the FSB and GUR to deceive each other.
