Case Description
On March 2, 2025, an 18-year-old resident of Arkhangelsk, Ivan Shadrin, was detained at Terminal A of Vnukovo Airport in Moscow. A report on an administrative offense under the article on petty hooliganism was drawn up against him." "According to police reports, Shadrin was shouting loudly and waving his arms, using crude obscene language when addressing others, did not respond to police remarks, and did not comply with the lawful demands of police officers. The next day, on March 3, 2025, Judge Maria Yemelyanova of the Solntsevsky District Court of Moscow sent the young man under administrative arrest for 15 days. After serving his sentence, on March 17, 2025, Shadrina was detained again. The next day, a criminal case was opened against him for attempting to participate in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to the investigation, the young man intended to join the 'Russian Volunteer Corps' (RDK) out of sympathy for the residents of Ukraine. On March 19, 2025, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow chose a measure of restraint for the defendant in the form of detention. After his arrest, Ivan attempted suicide, after which he was placed in a hospital at SIZO-2 "Butyrka.
