Case Description
In Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, at the end of May 2025, 33-year-old Yevgeny Kalganov, a native of Novorossiysk, was detained. A protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against him under the article on disobedience to police officers. According to police reports, the man matched a certain APB description, but in response to the lawful request of the police to present documents for verification, he categorically refused and attempted to flee." On May 30, 2025, Judge Natalya Lipeyeva of the Central District Court of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, sentenced Kalganov to 5 days of administrative arrest. After serving his sentence, the man was detained on a criminal case: he was accused of treason and aiding terrorist activities. The details of the charges are unknown. The court placed the defendant in custody.
