Case Description
Elena Chemeriga, a 54-year-old resident of Berdyansk in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, a citizen of Ukraine with forced Russian citizenship, was abducted on February 21, 2024. A criminal case for high treason was opened against her, details of the charges are unknown. No later than November 2025, she was placed in the Donetsk pre-trial detention center.
