Case Description
In Ulyanovsk in October 2022 (exact date unknown), a 25-year-old refugee from Ukraine, Dobroslav Manyko, was detained. A criminal case was opened against him on charges of 'aiding terrorist activity' and 'organizing the activities of an extremist organization'. According to the investigation, from March 2019 to January 2022, being in Mariupol, in one of the social networks, by persuasion and persuasion, Man'ko inclined a person to commit terrorist acts." The man also, through correspondence, persuaded other individuals to participate in the activities of the banned extremist organization Right Sector. The court sent the Ukrainian to a remand prison. On September 19, 2023, the Southern Military District Court found Dobroslav Manyko guilty and sentenced him to nine years in a general regime colony. December 25, 2023, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged. Dobroslav Manyko is a childhood disability, suffers from cerebral palsy, and has difficulty moving on crutches.
