Case Description
On January 26, 2025, in the Donetsk region, 36-year-old Ukrainian citizen and Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Dmitry Stadnikov was taken prisoner by Russian military personnel. He was accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and of undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities. According to the Russian investigation, in November 2024, Stadnikov voluntarily joined the 48th Separate Assault "Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after. Nomana Chelebijikhan's. Between September 22 and October 21, 2024, he underwent tactical and special training and other types of training "for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities."
