Case Description
The first criminal case for discrediting the army was opened in September 2022 due to anti-war posters on the facade of his store. Skurikhin became a suspect in a second similar case in February 2023, the reason being a picket with a poster 'Forgive me, Ukraine!', held on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion on February 24. The man was sent to a pre-trial detention center, but later released under house arrest. The cases were combined, the circumstances were considered as one ongoing episode. In August 2023, Dmitry was sentenced to one and a half years in a general regime colony.
