According to the FSB, Lisovets participated in combat operations against 'DPR' units in the Donetsk region in 2016-2017. On December 7, 2023, the Southern Military Court found Dmitry Lisovets guilty and sentenced him to 16 years in prison, of which he must spend 3 years in prison, and the rest of the term in a strict regime colony. On July 9, 2024, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
