In Melitopol, occupied Zaporizhzhia region, no later than August 2022 (the exact date is unknown), 50-year-old Dmitry Golubev was detained. He was accused of 'undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities,' an act of 'international terrorism,' and two episodes of preparation for it. After that, Golubev, according to the investigation, 'installed explosive devices at planned addresses' and 'one of them detonated in the window opening of the MREO building in Melitopol.' On November 23, 2023, the Southern District Military Court found Dmitry Golubev guilty and sentenced him to 18 years in a strict regime colony. On June 19, 2024, the Appellate Military Court upheld the sentence.
