Case Description
In the Kirov region, on the stretch "Kirov-Chukhlomsky" on July 13, 2023, two relay cabinets burned down. Two previously convicted of car theft and theft, 19-year-old Dmitry Yevtekhov and 26-year-old Valery Shipichkin, were detained on charges of arson. On November 28, 2024, the Central Military District Court found Dmitry Yevtekhov guilty and sentenced him to 21 years in a strict regime penal colony, with the first 4 years to be served in prison. On May 12, 2025, the Central Military District Court found Valery Shipichkin guilty and sentenced him to 19 years in a strict regime penal colony. During the first four years he will have to serve in prison, the remaining part in a strict regime colony. On September 22, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left Yevtekhov's sentence without any changes.
