Case Description
In the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, a criminal case of espionage was opened against a local resident, a citizen of Ukraine, Dmitry Evseliev. According to Russian security officials, the man collected information about the locations of military personnel, weapons and military equipment of units of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation from March to June 2023, which he sent to an employee of the Ukrainian security service via an internet messenger. On or before April 25, 2024, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Court found Dmitry Yevsyelev guilty and sentenced him to 11 years of imprisonment to be served in a strict regime correctional colony. No information about appealing the verdict.
