Case Description
On May 18, 2022, Denis Trubitsyn, a 35-year-old Ukrainian citizen, was detained in Berdyansk, an occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. He was accused of illegal handling of explosives, as well as attempted murder of two or more persons (including a minor), committed in a manner dangerous to the public from hooligan motives." The details of the charges are unknown. The defendant in the case was placed in the SIZO. 21 December 2023, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Court found Denis Trubitsyn guilty and sentenced him to 12 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony." There is no information about appealing the verdict.
