Abdurakhmanov Bogdan Ruslanovich

On October 6, 2022, in the city of Goryachy Klyuch, Krasnodar Krai, an unknown person tried to set fire to a military enlistment office by throwing two bottles of flammable mixture at the building. The bottles shattered in the vestibule of the entrance; a guard and duty military personnel extinguished the fire, and no damage was caused. On October 9, on charges of arson, 34-year-old teacher from Krasnodar Boris Goncharenko and 27-year-old native of Minsk Bogdan Abdurakhmanov were detained. They were charged with a terrorist act committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. Both men were sent to pre-trial detention. Later, the charges against the defendants were reclassified: Abdurakhmanov was charged with committing a terrorist act, and Goncharenko with aiding terrorism. According to the investigation, the latter only prepared the flammable liquid. On January 13, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found the defendants guilty and sentenced Boris Goncharenko to 12 years in a maximum-security colony, with the first 4.5 years to be served in prison, and Bogdan Abdurakhmanov to 13 years in a maximum-security colony, with the first 4.5 years to be served in prison. On December 3, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the verdict unchanged.
