A criminal case was opened against Vigovsky on charges of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and assisting terrorist activities. The details of the charges are unknown. On August 12, 2024, the Southern District Military Court found Artyom Vigovsky guilty and sentenced him to 19 years in a strict regime penal colony.
