Case Description
In Melitopol, in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, a criminal case was initiated for calls to terrorism and extremism against a local resident, Ukrainian citizen Angela Nikolenko. Certain comments on social networks served as the basis for criminal prosecution. The date of detention and details of the charges are unknown. The woman was placed in custody for the duration of the investigation. On January 27, 2025, the Southern Military District Court found Angela Nikolenko guilty and sentenced her to actual imprisonment, the size of the punishment is unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
