Case Description
On February 18, 2025, in Kirov, six fighters of the SOBR "Shield" broke into the apartment of Anton Dolgikh, a former member of the Opposition Coordination Council, lawyer, and human rights defender, with a search. About 1 thousand were seized from him. dollars, electronic storage media, computers, cell phones, and documents. A criminal case was opened against the lawyer for bribery and abuse of official powers. According to the investigation, the man gave a bribe of 4,500 rubles to the head of the post office. The court placed Dolgikh in custody for the duration of the investigation. Later, charges were added for abuse of official powers and incitement to commit a crime. On November 19, 2025, Anton Dolgikh was found guilty by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Kirov and sentenced to 1.5 years in a penal colony-settlement under the article on abuse of office and a fine of 50 thousand rubles in a bribery case. Anton was exempted from paying the fine due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for bringing him to justice and credited his stay in the detention center on a scheme of 2 days in the SIZO for 1 day in the settlement colony. Thus, Anton Dolgikh was released from custody in the courtroom after serving his sentence.
